| Ghost Project Announced! - 9/6/08 | |
JMG is pleased to announce a project we have been working on - the Ghost Fat Tail, which is pictured here with another gecko to show the incredible hazy ghostly coloration. We are currently working with this gecko, which is unrelated to any other geckos out there, to prove this trait genetic. If this is proved to be genetic, you can expect the Ghost Fat Tails to be released with pricing similar to the White Outs. |
| Interview from the Daytona Show! - 8/30/08 | |
See Jeff Jr. get interviewed at the Daytona show. He answers questions from his beginnings in the hobby and shows off a Bell Albino Enigma, a Lavender Stripe, and even a sneak peek at an Aberrant White Out Fat Tail! |
| Cremesicle Project Update - 8/18/08 | |
The Cremesicle project continues to bring out stronger and more interesting coloration. Pictured here is a fourth generation Cremesicle from our lines. All of our Cremesicles are Mack Snows, and are able to produce Super Snows. Also, we do not breed or keep any line bred snows in our collection. Please see our Cremesicle Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Aberrant Fat Tail Project Update - 8/6/08 | |
Update: Added some more pictures of some of the patterns emerging in our project. We are currently working with five different types of Aberrant Fat Tails! Three of the bloodlines are wild caught, and two of the bloodlines were actually hatched out of our own collection, and are consequently not related to any other Aberrant Fat Tails you will find. We are expecting some interesting combinations upcoming when these are bred into the White Outs, Stingers, and a few of the other projects we are working on. Please see our Aberrant Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Zero Fat Tail Project Update - 7/11/08 | |
JMG Reptile is proud to announce a new fat tail gecko morph – the Zero! We have proven the lack of banding, which the gecko is named after, to be a genetic trait. The genetic link to the zero banding pattern makes this a new line of fat tail, developed in house! We should have offspring available of the Zero Fat Tail early in 2009. Please see our Zero Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Stinger Fat Tail Project Update - 7/8/08 | |
The Stinger, named for the sharp stinger-like pattern on the lower back and the “bee face” a bit further up, is a new morph of the Fat Tail gecko. This is a new line being developed and introduced by JMG Reptile. This has proven to be a genetic trait, and we should have offspring available very early in 2009. |

| Lavender Stripe Project Update - 7/8/08 | |
The Lavender Stripe Leopard Gecko, a line developed in house here at JMG Reptile, has seen great improvements over the past few years. The lavender coloring on the sides of these animals does not fade from aging or breeding – as you can see from these pictures of our breeders, some of which are with eggs or have just laid eggs! We have also found that the incubation temperature doesn’t influence the brightness of the lavender color, this is a nice, consistent color pattern. Please see our Lavender Stripe Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Hyper Xanthic Project Update - 7/7/08 | |
The Hyper Xanthic project is coming out well. The yellow on the tails continues to improve, and we are hoping within the next 2-3 years that we will be able to achieve a one-half to three-quarters yellow tail. This has been a long project so far - currently at seven years and running! We will continue to keep you updated as we work towards the ultimate goal of this project - a full yellow tail. Please see our Hyper Xanthic Project page for more pictures and information. |
