| Axanthic Fat Tail Project - 3/2/09 | |
The Axanthic Fat Tail is a simple recessive trait. The original male was a wild caught specimen that we imported and is not related to any other anery project. We will be breeding the Axanthic Fat Tail trait into our other morphs this year. |
| Patternless White Out Fat Tail Project - 3/2/09 | |
We weren't joking when we said that the possibilities that the White Outs would bring into fat tail gecko breeding would be fantastic. These Patternless White Outs are some of the most incredible geckos we have had the pleasure of introducing, the blue coloration on the tail is truly amazing. Be sure to check our special Patternless White Out page for age progression photos of some of these geckos from hatchling to 20 grams! We are excited to continue to work with this new morph and explore the possibilities this opens up; we'll keep you posted as things develop. |

We will be updating again soon with even more Hyper Xanthic combinations. | Charcoal Leopard Gecko Project - 3/6/09 | |
The Charcoal Leopard Gecko is a dark morph project that we have been working on. This project started with a founding female that was born in house that had a nearly solid black tail. The goal of this project is a solid black leopard gecko, and you can see the progress we have made already in the picture to the right of a second generation gecko. We have noticed some fantastic black spotting popping up on the neck and throat on the Charcoals. Be sure to check out more pictures (including pictures of the underside of some of these!) on our Charcoal Leopard Gecko page. |

| Super Hypo and Blood Hypo Projects - 12/15/08 | |
It has been over three years since we have updated our online pictures of the Super Hypo and Blood Hypo morphs…this is our long overdue morph update. From the pictures below, as well as the piles of new pictures on our Super Hypo and Blood Hypo pages, you can see the vast improvements that have shown through in the past few years. Both the Super Hypo and Blood Hypo blood lines have been developed in house and you can see the amazing quality of color we have come up with, especially in our orange line of hypos. All of our years of hard work are really starting to pay off as we continue to create even more vibrant colors in these lines that remain into adulthood - in fact, the featured Blood Hypo is two years old! |

| Ghost Project Announced! - 9/6/08 | |
JMG is pleased to announce a project we have been working on - the Ghost Fat Tail, which is pictured here with another gecko to show the incredible hazy ghostly coloration. We are currently working with this gecko, which is unrelated to any other geckos out there, to prove this trait genetic. If this is proved to be genetic, you can expect the Ghost Fat Tails to be released with pricing similar to the White Outs. |
| Interview from the Daytona Show! - 8/30/08 | |
See Jeff Jr. get interviewed at the Daytona show. He answers questions from his beginnings in the hobby and shows off a Bell Albino Enigma, a Lavender Stripe, and even a sneak peek at an Aberrant White Out Fat Tail! |
| Cremesicle Project Update - 8/18/08 | |
The Cremesicle project continues to bring out stronger and more interesting coloration. Pictured here is a fourth generation Cremesicle from our lines. All of our Cremesicles are Mack Snows, and are able to produce Super Snows. Also, we do not breed or keep any line bred snows in our collection. Please see our Cremesicle Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Aberrant Fat Tail Project Update - 8/6/08 | |
Update: Added some more pictures of some of the patterns emerging in our project. We are currently working with five different types of Aberrant Fat Tails! Three of the bloodlines are wild caught, and two of the bloodlines were actually hatched out of our own collection, and are consequently not related to any other Aberrant Fat Tails you will find. We are expecting some interesting combinations upcoming when these are bred into the White Outs, Stingers, and a few of the other projects we are working on. Please see our Aberrant Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Zero Fat Tail Project Update - 7/11/08 | |
JMG Reptile is proud to announce a new fat tail gecko morph – the Zero! We have proven the lack of banding, which the gecko is named after, to be a genetic trait. The genetic link to the zero banding pattern makes this a new line of fat tail, developed in house! We should have offspring available of the Zero Fat Tail early in 2009. Please see our Zero Project page for more pictures and information. |

| Lavender Stripe Project Update - 7/8/08 | |
The Lavender Stripe Leopard Gecko, a line developed in house here at JMG Reptile, has seen great improvements over the past few years. The lavender coloring on the sides of these animals does not fade from aging or breeding – as you can see from these pictures of our breeders, some of which are with eggs or have just laid eggs! We have also found that the incubation temperature doesn’t influence the brightness of the lavender color, this is a nice, consistent color pattern. Please see our Lavender Stripe Project page for more pictures and information. |
